Sanctification of our clinic.

Orthodox Christians celebrate today, August 9, the Day of St. Panteleimon the Healer. People come to church on this day to pray for health, they are smeared with peace seven times in honor of the 7 Gospels. In addition, people bring with them flour and butter, which the priests bless, after which they take them home and prepare food from them.

  3. Sanctification of our clinic.

On August 09, 2011 the ceremony of consecration of the "Omni Dent" dental clinic was performed.

The priest sprinkled holy water on new equipment, clinic rooms and offered up prayers for all "doctors and doctors in this clinic."

The Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon was chosen as the patron saint.

The Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon is the main patron saint of all doctors and patients. If you are tormented by any sore or ailment, just pray to Saint Panteleimon, read a prayer to him, buy an icon of Panteleimon, necessarily consecrated in the church, and put it in a prominent place at home. Panteleimon will certainly help a sick person suffering from pain - if he does not completely cure the disease, then at least he will reduce the pain and suffering, suffering of a person.

Prayer to Saint Panteleimon the Healer is the main prayer for sick people. Also, the prayer of Panteleimon can be read not only for the sake of curing the disease, but also as a prayer for the health of an adult and children for, so to speak, preventive purposes. The life of Saint Panteleimon was very difficult - he healed people, and he was punished for this, and later was completely executed. But even after his death, the saint helps the sick and suffering from pain, heals their illnesses and restores health to the “hopeless” patients.

Saint Panteleimon was from Nicomedia. In his youth, he studied the art of medicine and achieved great success in this, so the emperor Maximian invited him to serve at the court. Panteleimon was also noticed by Elder Ermolai, who wanted to enlighten him with the Christian faith. He invited Panteleimon to accept the Christian faith, and he agreed after an extraordinary incident that happened to him. Once, walking away from his teacher, he met a dead child stung by a building on the road and for the experience he called on the name of Christ. The child came to life, and Panteleimon was baptized by Ermolai. By the power of prayer to Jesus Christ, Panteleimon managed to heal the blind man, then the pagan father of the one who received his sight was baptized with his son.
After the death of his father, who left him a rich inheritance, Panteleimon distributed everything to the poor, and he himself healed the sick not so much with medicines as with the power of God.
When the emperor learned that Panteleimon believed in Christ, he called him to himself and told him to offer a sacrifice to the pagan idol gods. But Panteleimon did not agree, and he was brutally tortured. He remained adamant and did not renounce Christ's faith. They wanted to give him up to be torn apart by animals, drown him in the sea, tied him to a wheel studded with sharp needles, but the Lord God saved Panteleimon - he remained unharmed. In the end, he was beheaded and his body was set on fire. But to no avail, the body remained unharmed, and the Christians buried it with reverence. This was in 305. Soon the relics of the saint were transferred to Constantinople. Parts of them dispersed to smaller Christian monasteries and temples around the world.

  Let's pray for everyone!
